This figure has increased by 760% compared to the same period last year. The biggest advantage is that the time to transport goods from Nanning Station, Guangxi, China to An Vien Station in Vietnam only takes about 14 hours.

Since the beginning of the year, freight trains between China and Vietnam have increased their capacity to transport many types of goods such as fiberboard by 10 times and LCD screens by more than 2.5 times compared to the same period last year. Before the Lunar New Year, the demand for Tet goods such as candy, drinks, decorative cardboard and spices also increased sharply, so an additional train had to be added every day.

In response to the large transportation demand of the China-Vietnam railway, China Railway Group Co., Ltd. in Nanning City has flexibly planned transportation for businesses and balanced the transportation of goods between Nanning Station and Pingxiang Station. In addition, the authorities of the two sides regularly exchange information to speed up the delivery of goods. The Vietnam-China border gates are increasingly bustling with the development of trade exchange between Vietnam and China.

Cargo ships departing from Guangxi also connect with 25 provinces and cities of China, bringing goods to many ASEAN countries such as Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, etc., thereby improving the efficiency of trade between China and ASEAN.
