On the UVote platform, the fund management board can operate most of the operations to prepare for the upcoming 2025 investor conference.
Recently, VCBF and FPT officially signed an agreement to deploy the VCBF 2025 investor meeting operation system using the UVote solution. This project marks a new step of development for VCBF in applying technology, especially electronic authorization, improving the efficiency of the electronic voting and vote counting process that has been implemented for many years.
Through the project, VCBF will use the UVote solution developed by FPT throughout the entire process of organizing the 2025 investor meeting, from sending personalized meeting invitations, managing proxy forms with investors’ electronic signatures to voting, election and vote counting in real time.
In particular, for the system deployed for VCBF, the UVote solution will be integrated with FPT.eSign and FPT.eContract to help investors declare authorization completely online. Previously, this process encountered many operational problems when it came to handling documents and papers.
According to Clause 3, Article 144 of the Law on Enterprises 2020, the authorization to attend the general meeting of investors must be made in writing according to the form of the enterprise. Therefore, in order for the authorized person to attend the general meeting, the most important thing is that the investor and the authorized person must sign the authorization form issued by VCBF and then send this document to the general meeting management board. From there, many operational problems occur during the authorization process and checking the validity of the authorization.
On the UVote platform, VCBF fund management can operate most of the operations to prepare for the upcoming 2025 investor meeting. These operations include managing investor data on the system, sending invitations with personalized meeting codes, supporting investors to log in in many different ways. During the meeting, the management board can schedule the opening and closing of voting ballots, interact and answer questions from investors, and monitor election and voting results immediately.
Notably, in addition to shareholder and investor identification methods using OTP, QR code and eKYC, UVote has upgraded the security and legality of the live meeting by adding the form of ID card identification with Chip with FPT.IDCheck technology verified by the Ministry of Public Security. In the AI-First trend, the platform has also added UVote GPT – Virtual Assistant to support investors and shareholders in the steps of operation on the platform.
At the signing ceremony, VCBF and FPT pledged to work closely together to ensure the smooth running of the congress. It is expected that the preparations will be completed within 1 month to quickly bring practical value to VCBF, helping investors gain real-world experience and increase the fund’s value in the long term.
