After nearly 3 months of launching, on September 3, 2024, the Department of Transport of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) and the Department of Transport of Quang Ninh Province (Vietnam) allowed the New National Line Group Transport Co., Ltd. (China) to cooperate with the Vietnam-China Global Friendship Group Joint Stock Company (Vietnam) to implement a fixed passenger transport route between Nanning City (China) and Ha Long City (Vietnam) via the Beilun II Bridge Clearance Road.

Based on Notification No. 51 (2024) of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Road Transport Development Center, China, regarding the notification of enterprises and the Quang Ninh Department of Transport (Vietnam), the Mong Cai Border Gate Customs Branch (Quang Ninh Customs Department) has proactively coordinated with relevant agencies at the Beilun II Bridge Border Gate to guide and support enterprises in carrying out customs procedures quickly and conveniently.

At the same time, the Branch also ensures strict inspection, supervision, and management of temporary import and re-export vehicles; luggage of entry passengers carried on passenger transport vehicles in accordance with the law and the Road Transport Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People’s Republic of China.

The implementation of passenger transportation between the two cities: Nanning (China) and Ha Long (Vietnam) will contribute to diversifying tourism products for tourists to Ha Long City, contributing to the development of tourism in Quang Ninh province.
