The first 15 projects in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, Dong Nai province have just been dismantled to implement the project of converting functions.

On April 19, the Bien Hoa City Land Fund Development Center coordinated with the People’s Committee of An Binh Ward to organize forces to dismantle 15 constructions in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park to implement the Project according to the Project to convert the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban – Commercial – Service Area.

Accordingly, many vehicles and human resources have been mobilized to dismantle and level 15 housing projects in Dien residential area, in Ward 2, An Binh Ward. These are the houses of households that received compensation and resettlement support when the state reclaimed land many years ago, but the households have not yet moved to a new place to hand over the land.

After receiving the notice from the Bien Hoa City Land Fund Development Center requesting the demolition of the project and handing over the site, the residents moved to new housing but the project was not dismantled. Therefore, the Bien Hoa City Land Fund Development Center and the local government proceeded to dismantle and level the project and hand over the site to serve the project construction, avoiding the situation where residents were re-moved to continue living.

A representative of the Bien Hoa City Land Fund Development Center said that currently in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, there are 100 households that need to dismantle their constructions and hand over their land. Initially, 41 households signed the land handover minutes before April 30. For the remaining households, the Land Fund Development Center held a meeting and announced the request to dismantle the constructions and hand over their land from April 15.

After April 30, if households do not voluntarily dismantle the construction, compulsory measures will be applied according to regulations. In addition to reclaiming land from households living in this industrial park, the industry units of Dong Nai province and Bien Hoa city are also focusing on relocating businesses operating in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park to soon realize the project of converting the functions of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.

The Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park Conversion Project aims to build a civilized, modern urban – service – commercial area that develops in a sustainable direction. The highlight is the Dong Nai Provincial Political and Administrative Center with an area of ​​about 44 hectares and the Bien Hoa 1 urban service area with an area of ​​more than 283 hectares.
