TTC AgriS accompanies the Nation: Strategic cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, pioneering the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW in digital transformation of circular agriculture

Bac Ninh – May 10, 2025 – Marking an important step forward in promoting national high-tech agriculture, TTC AgriS (Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company, AgriS, HOSE: SBT) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MARD) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on comprehensive cooperation. The event is within the framework of the Conference to deploy the implementation plan of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation in the agriculture and environment sector.

The event was held in Bac Ninh, witnessed by senior government leaders: Mr. Do Duc Duy – Minister of Agriculture and Environment, Mr. Phung Duc Tien – Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan – Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, and leaders representing departments and branches. This is a clear demonstration of the Government’s commitment to mobilizing all resources, especially from the dynamic private economic sector, to realize the goals of sustainable, modern and internationally integrated agricultural development. 

TTC AgriS: From a pioneering vision to leading the industry in realizing digital agricultural transformation

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and AgriS will cooperate to: (1) Promote the development of a high-tech circular agricultural model associated with the goal of net neutrality by 2035, in line with the practical capacity of enterprises and the transformation process of the industry, contributing to the implementation of national commitments at COP26; (2) Develop agricultural value chains and connect international markets to enhance competitiveness, added value and sustainability of Vietnam’s agricultural sector; (3) Build, integrate and effectively exploit digital databases in the fields of agriculture and environment, contributing to connecting data between management agencies and businesses; (4) Train and improve capacity for actors in the agricultural value chain, promote digital transformation, innovation and develop circular and sustainable agriculture.

Speaking at the Conference, Minister of Agriculture and Environment – Mr. Do Duc Duy said that the Ministry has issued a specific implementation plan in Decision No. 503/QD-BNNMT to improve productivity, quality, product value and environmental protection, taking science and technology and digital transformation as the foundation, and proposed 5 groups of breakthrough solutions: (1) Perfecting institutions, policies and reforming administrative procedures to remove barriers, (2) Identifying and focusing on science and technology fields with great potential, (3) Reorganizing the system of public science and technology organizations towards streamlining, efficiency, competitiveness and spreading knowledge to the market, (4) Developing high-quality human resources in the field of science and technology and digital transformation, closely linking training, research and practical application, and (5) Promoting comprehensive digital transformation.

At this important event, Ms. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairwoman of AgriS Board of Directors, conveyed a strong message about the company’s mission and commitment: “The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment is an important milestone, affirming AgriS’s companionship and commitment in implementing Resolution 57 and realizing sustainable agricultural development goals, especially the goal of Net Zero Emissions by 2035. We will continue to maximize our capacity and experience in applying high technology to contribute to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment in promoting breakthrough development for the future of Vietnam’s agricultural sector.”

Solid internal strength and creative thinking: The foundation for AgriS’s leading role

TTC AgriS’s commitment does not stop at visionary statements, but is concretized by a clear roadmap for action. In the presentation on “Application of Science, Technology and Digital Transformation in Building a Sustainable and Smart Agricultural Model – Proposing a Public-Private Partnership Mechanism to Elevate Vietnamese Agriculture in the Global Value Chain”, AgriS General Director – Mr. Thai Van Chuyen shared about AgriS’s internal potential and action plan closely following Resolution 57-NQ/TW, continuing to invest heavily in research, technology transfer, developing model farms, training human resources and building a digital ecosystem – from raw material areas to the dining table. Especially in key production areas of the sugarcane and coconut industries – two industries that Vietnam has advantages in, and still has a lot of room to increase value.
