The second Vietnam New Economy Forum 2024 with the theme “ Creating a new economy: Revolution in digital transformation – green transformation and the pioneering role of enterprises ”, is scheduled to take place at 1:30 p.m. on October 16, 2024 at Ballroom 4th floor, L7 Westlake by Lotte, Tay Ho, Hanoi.
This is an annual event organized by Vietnam Economic Times in collaboration with the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM), Ministry of Planning and Investment.
The forum is expected to vividly reflect the practical activities of innovation, application of digital science and technology, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, green transformation in enterprises in various economic sectors. Thereby, helping policy makers, managers, and economic entities clearly recognize the implementation capacity, strengths, advantages, potentials as well as challenges and difficulties associated with current policy mechanisms.
On that basis, discuss, propose and advise on solutions to remove obstacles, adjust and issue new resolutions, mechanisms and policies with higher breakthroughs, in order to facilitate and promote effective implementation, achieving the set goals.
The Forum will have the participation of representatives of the Party and State leaders: Government, National Assembly; representatives of leaders of Central Committees and Ministries: Central Economic Committee, Economic Committee of the National Assembly, Committee of Science, Technology and Environment of the National Assembly, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Information and Communications.
The Forum also received the attention and participation of international organizations and associations including: WorldBank, ADB, UNDP, FAO, IFAD, GIZ, VCCI, OxFam, EuroCham, AmCham, KorCham, along with many senior economic experts, research institutes, universities, business associations, industry associations and press agencies.
The forum is expected to attract 200-300 delegates to attend the live event, along with hundreds of thousands of readers watching online on the electronic platforms of VnEconomy.vn and FanPage VnEconomy .
